Epic journey to Byron Bay

Noah's Backpackers- Bondi

Home of room 202, wow the memories we have there. This is where our family was first established containing baby emma, mummy anna, sister tilly, pheebs, matty big bro, tommy toodles, jord, corey and bradleyyyy! After recieving over 6 warnings about the noise, mess, goon, smell coming out of that room im pretty sure to say that noahs backpackers was happy to see us leave. Although not sure the travellers would say that as room 202 ended up being pretty legendary there, even tommy toodles stole the 202 sign off the door. looking back now noahs backpackers was the main reason we had suchh an incredible time in Bondi. Our life consisted of chilling on the beach with a plastic bag of goon or listening to Matty play his guitar to us. We miss that place but the joy of travelling is finding our next grubby hostel to call home, oh the excitement to come!!!

Sydney

G'day mate. WOW what a journey, just took us a casual 41 hours to get to Sydney via Dubai? Dubai? silly Iraq didn't let us through their 'air space'. Not to mention we stopped in Singapore (our scheduled stop) for a full day of waiting around. However on the bright side we got a showers, beds and food!! we didn't waste any time getting stuck into a free burger king. nomnomnom.

oh well, we've finally made it here and i have to give it to them, australia does live up to the expectations. No wonder its called surfers paradise. our first stop was Bondi Beach, we planned on staying for 4days but its ended up being 2 weeks. we have made the most incredible friends we are practically family now and we've even persuaded them to come to Byron Bay with us, bring on another epic 15 hour bus journey.
quick fact for any future backpackers visiting australia, drink 'GOON', it's boxed wine, tastes like camels piss but gets you veryveryvery drunk anyhoo paying for an internet cafe here, very expensive so we will blog when arrived in another city, ciao for now
